Reminders:

• Dress your child for the weather - toque, mitts, snow pants, snow boots
• In case your child refuses to wear snow pants, toque and mitts etc. please keep those items in your child's backpack. It is good to be prepared for any unexpected bus break downs while your child is on the bus.
• Provide your child's preferred spoon or snack/lunch time
• Sign your child's agenda everyday so that I know you have read it, especially if there is a note from the teacher
• Write your child's name on his/her belongings

This week:

- Started with "I want..." sentences

- Began to build snowman

- Practice writing the letters B, H, M and D - recognizing and sound - sorting activities 

- Gym: Practiced catching and throwing soft ball - one-on-one, Noodle Tag 

- Counting using blocks and matching the numeral with number word and corresponding dots

- Building a two colour pattern with blocks

- Winter Art/Craft  

 

  

  

Next week:

- Focus on "I want..." sentences

- Five Little Snowman - song and activities on smart board

- Review the letters B, D, H, and M

- Gym: Play Noodle Tag, walk side ways
