Reminders:

Last day of classes: Dec. 17

Classes resume: Jan. 6

• Dress your child for the weather - toque, mitts, snow pants, snow boots
• In case your child refuses to wear snow pants, toque and mitts etc. please keep those items in your child's backpack. It is good to be prepared for any unexpected bus break downs while your child is on the bus.
• Provide your child's preferred spoon or snack/lunch time
• Sign your child's agenda everyday so that I know you have read it, especially if there is a note from the teacher
• Write your child's name on his/her belongings

This week:

- Worked with "I see..." sentences

- Added more features to the our Bulletin Board - labeling - tree, grass etc.

- Practiced the letters M and D - recognizing and sound - interactive sorting activities 

- Continued to learn to jump over a line in the gym and throwing/catching the soft balls

- Counting 1-10 using blocks

- Notice things around in the classroom and outside for writing sentences 

  

  

 

 

  

Next week:

- Continue with "I see..." sentences

- Add more features to the our Bulletin Board - labeling -snow, snowman, houses etc.

- Continue to practice the letters M and D - recognizing and sound - sorting activities 

- Gym: Play "What time is it Mr. Wolf?" Instead of walking students will hop the number 

- Counting 1-10 using blocks and matching the numeral with number word and corresponding dots

- Notice things around in the classroom and outside for writing sentences
