Reminders:
No school Friday, Nov. 26 - PD Day
- Dress your child for the weather - toque, mitts, snow pants, snow boots
- In case your child refuses to wear snow pants, toque and mitts etc. please keep those items in your child's backpack. It is good to be prepared for any unexpected bus break downs while your child is on the bus.
- Provide your child's preferred spoon or snack/lunch time
- Sign your child's agenda everyday so that I know you have read it, especially if there is a note from the teacher
- Write your child's name on his/her belongings
This week:
- Finished with writing "I like..." sentences.
- Used visual pictures to read and write "I like..." sentences
- Painted brown background for our bulletin board scene
- Finished practicing the letters Pp and Hh - recognition and sound
- Did sorting words and pictures on Jam board slides
- Practiced jumping over the lines in the Gym
- Weather being good, walked around in the school field, looked at the nature and other things that we saw
Next week:
- Start with "I see..." sentences
- Add more features to the our Bulletin Board - labeling - tree, grass etc.
- Practice the letters M and D - recognizing and sound - sorting activities
- Continue to learn to jump over a line in the gym
- Counting 1-10 using blocks
- Notice things around in the classroom and outside for writing sentences
